In a Good Mood

POV: Henry I was sitting at a table in the Japanese restaurant, waiting for my takeout. I still hadn't completely decompresssed from the call with my "father." It was honestly impressive how that piece of work could still manage to ruin my day, even now that I didn’t live under his roof. What pissed me off the most was that after everything he’d done, after being a total deadbeat husband to my mother and a shitty father to me, he still had the audacity to call. He actually felt entitled to ask me for something, as if he’d ever given me a damn thing in his life. "Order up!", the waiter said, setting the bags on the table. I paid and headed out fast. Henry: [On my way] I texted Anne the second I got in the car. After hanging up on Harrison, I’d almost canceled lunch with her. I was seeing red and didn't want her to see me like that. But if I did, I’d be letting him win. I’d be letting him ruin my day, and I wasn't going to let that happen anymore. I pulled up in front of her building and took a deep breath, trying to center myself. "Forget that asshole, Henry.", I muttered to myself before getting out of the car. "Hey!", she said, beaming the moment she opened the door. That smile was exactly what I needed. "Am I late?", I asked, setting the food down on the table. "Extremely.", she teased. I took her in; her hair looked darker and incredibly silky. "What did you do to your hair?", I smiled, stepping closer to touch it. "Oh... I just... conditioned it and gave myself a blowout. Why?" "It looks gorgeous.", I smiled. "If I’d known you were going to get all dolled up, I would’ve taken you out instead of bringing food here." "I got ready for you, not for going out.", she said with a sultry smile. That was it; I hit my limit. I grabbed her by the waist and kissed her. My God, I just couldn't resist her anymore. She already had me hooked without even trying, but when she decided to flirt? It drove me insane. "You did your hair for me, and now I’m going to mess the whole thing up.", I whispered in her ear before trailing kisses down her neck. Only she could flip my mood that fast; I couldn't even remember why I’d been pissed off. I pressed her against the wall, hiked up the hem of her dress, and slid a hand inside her panties. She was already ready for me, but I wanted to torture her just a little. I worked her sweet spot until her legs started to give out, then I turned her around to face the wall. I didn't even have to ask; she hitched her panties down herself, just as hungry as I was. I was already dying for it, but seeing her like that made me desperate to be inside her. I fumbled with my belt, got protected, and shoved inside in one go, dying to feel her again. She moaned loud, which only made me want to hit it harder. I gripped her hair with one hand and squeezed her ass with the other, never breaking rhythm. When she finally crossed the finish line, I had to hold her up because the strength in her legs just evaporated. I hit my limit right after, pinning her hard against me so I could go even deeper. I pulled out of her feeling ecstatic, being with her did more for my head than any run ever could. I turned her around and kissed her. "You’re perfect.", I said, and she beamed. Since I’d spent most of my time "eating" her, I had to scarf down lunch to make it to campus on time. The day was a total whirlwind, but I’d never felt happier. Dave was right; I needed a girl, that girl. After we ate, I gave her a quick goodbye, dying to stay longer, and headed to campus. "Good afternoon.", I greeted the class as I walked in. "Today, we’re picking up where we left off last time. And..." "Excuse me.", Ms. Bennett said, scurrying into the room with her head down. She sat next to Ms. Smith. I found that odd, since she usually sat by Fletcher. Well, hopefully that means her grades will finally improve. Smith’s influence would definitely be better for her than Fletcher’s. "As I was saying, last class we were discussing the classification of homicide, correct? Can anyone tell me the primary division?" "Murder and Manslaughter.", Smith answered, as usual. She was easily my best student. She had "future judge" written all over her. "Very good.", I wrote on the board. "And what is the difference between them?", I turned back to the class. "Murder requires the intent to kill, malice aforethought. In Manslaughter, there is no full malice.", Smith again. "Perfect.", I wrote. "Now, let’s consider a hypothetical...", I trailed off as I heard snickering from the back. I turned to see the source. Of course: Fletcher. He seemed to be mid-flirt with Ms. Stewart, who was sitting next to him. They were laughing and chatting, completely oblivious to the fact that they were disrupting my lecture. Yes, I was in a great mood this afternoon, but that didn't mean I was going to let an insult like that slide. "Mr. Fletcher, Ms. Stewart.", I called out calmly. "Please excuse yourselves from my classroom." They stared at me, stunned, probably wondering if they’d heard me right. "I’m waiting." Stewart made a move to get up, but Fletcher held her back. "We’re not leaving.", Fletcher said with that smug look of his. God, I hated this kid. "You can’t just kick us out whenever you feel like it." I smiled. "Actually, I can. Especially when you’re disrupting my class." "We weren't disrupting anything." The audacity. I almost laughed. At least he had one trait of a lawyer down: he could lie through his teeth. "Fine, Mr. Fletcher. I’ll let you stay if you can tell me what I was talking about before you interrupted me." "You were talking about homicide." "Impressive.", I said sarcastically. "And how are they classified?" "Um, homicide... uh..." "I’m in a good mood today, Mr. Fletcher, so I’ll give you a hint: there are two." A few students snickered. "Quiet, everyone. Fletcher needs to focus to get this one right." The laughter grew louder. I looked at Fletcher; his expression was pure hatred. Good. "Well, Mr. Fletcher? Nothing?", he didn't answer. I simply pointed to the board where the two types of homicide and their definitions were clearly written. The class kept laughing until he finally stood up, pissed, and stormed out.
