Raymond's POV
I never expected Caitlyn to leave before the battle. When I walked into the empty hospital room, all I could think was damn it!
She left without leaving a single word, no message, nothing. The tension between Richard and me had reached a breaking point, and I couldn't afford to get away to look for her.
I glanced at the plan for the battle and was overwhelmed by the frustration. I swept them all off the table, watching the papers scattered across the floor. Losing Caitlyn was driving me crazy.
Smith was smiling as if nothing was wrong.
"Don't worry, bro. She's fine. I had a tracker put on her during the surgery. We need to focus on this fight."
I locked eyes with Smith and growled.
