It was now Saturday night, the day before my birthday. We were all in the pool hall. Most were shooting pool or standing around watching. I was behind the counter, with Augie and Mike sitting nearby. 10:30pm, Larry came in, walked to the counter, and sat at the same table after all the hi"s. I wanted to talk to Larry, so I asked Augie and Mike to watch the counter.
