15 It turns out what lay ahead was much worse than Silas expected. It involved country music. He ran down the tunnel, quickly checking the few doors he came across; none led anywhere helpful, although one contained an interesting assortment of whips and restraints that he didn’t think were just for the torturing of Phil's enemies, but he would give him the benefit of the doubt on that one. He eventually came to some stairs, which he took as a good sign. When trying to escape the Undercity, heading up was always a less dangerous choice than heading down.
