I tried to focus on walking straight so I wouldn’t accidentally bump into him.
The sun was setting by now making the distance become unrecognizable. Which fueled the already angsty feeling inside.
He didn’t seem to mind the close proximity as he continued at my pace making sure he stayed next to me.
We walked up the first flight of stairs, the music getting louder as we got closer to her apartment. She lived on the second floor so it didn’t take us long to make it.
