"Maybe you shouldn't go to class today."
Adanni wasn't dumb, but she decided to pretend she was.
"No, my internship starts in two weeks. I have no choice. I have to go."
This internship was everything for Saniyah. She worked hard day in and out for this spot. Nothing was worth not getting it. Nothing.
"I don't know Niyah, you even look pale. Have you eaten anything?"
As Adanni was saying all of this she was shoving a shaved piece of ginger and a slice of bread on a plate.
"Have you been feeling this way yesterday? I don't remember you saying anything."
