Chapter 4 - Alone with the alpha

Levi’s POV

Hearing her speak of rejection triggered something within me I was angry that the thought even crossed her mind, worried she didn’t want me and was going to reject me and hurt by the things she said about herself she was perfect in every why how dare she say she’s not good enough. I tried to push my wolf back but he was a force to be reckoned with and the simple mention of rejection had him bubbling over. I snapped well my wolf did but if I’m honest so did I. There was no way I was letting her escape me she was mine I had waited long enough to find her like hell would I let her simply walk away. I carried her back to my room on the alpha floor she was thrashing about kicking me biting me and demanding I put her down. “Calm down my little petal your only making this worse for yourself” when we got back into my room I locked the door and placed her gently on my bed. “Please don’t hurt me” she started to sob all the range and anger disappeared in an instant my wolf handed back control to me and I walked over to my mate “ I already told you I could never hurt you, your my mate and my equal I didn’t mean to scare you I just don’t want to hear you speaking of us rejecting one another. I have waited so long to find you. Hearing you say you aren’t enough hurt me you are the most beautiful person I have ever seen and I don’t want to loose you before I have even gotten to know you” I hoped she heard the sincerity in my words. Her sobs turned to sniffles I slowly inched closer as to not scare her away when I was next to her she buried herself into my chest breathing slowly but deeply. “I’m sorry to I just … I can’t keep going through the pain of feeling inadequate all I ever wanted was to feel wanted and loved and it never happened just disappointment I really am sorry you waited this long only to be stuck with me”. I wanted to take away all of her pain I could feel it but I wanted to take it away i held her close inhaling her scent to calm myself. “I want you I would mate and mark you right now if that would make you believe me. Either way I’m not letting you go you are mine and I am yours now tell me my beautiful mate what is your name”. Her body relaxed more but she still remained buried within my chest not that it bothered me even slightly was overjoyed to be so close to her. “Sieranna, I assume you are alpha Levi of the silver crescent pack” she whispered “ Such a beautiful name for my beautiful mate. Yes I am.”

Hours passed making small talk and getting to know one another I quickly learned of her passed that she was found by the pack and taken in with no real family. She spoke of her first mate and everything that happened with him. She told me about her friend Alissa she sounded like a brilliant friend and I’m glad in all of this awfulness and the way she had been treated by the pack members here that she had such a great wonderful friend.

Sierannas POV

Once he had taken me to his room we just sat talking for a while. He seemed genuinely hurt at the idea of me rejecting him. I told him about myself and my life here at the pack. He didn’t seam to happy about how I had been treated. “You will be staying here with me tonight” his voice almost desperate but still holding a lot of authority. I don’t think I’m ready to be close to anyone in that way.” I was saving myself for my mate but after everything I wasn’t ready to let someone in like that. “I just mean to sleep I will feel better knowing your close by and safe with me” his piercing Carmel and brown eyes pleading with me. There was no use saying no I didn’t feel he would accept my answer and truth be told I did feel safer with him he was so addictive like I couldn’t get enough of him, his scent and warmth drawing me into him. I just nodded as he got up towards the closet. He grabbed out a shirt. “Here put this on so you will be more comfortable I can send my beta to your house to fetch you some things”. I walked over and took the shirt from him. I told him my address and texted Alissa to grab me some things in a bag. She was elated and kept asking me questions. I walked into the bathroom to get changed and wash away the make up from my face. When I came back outside he was already laying on the bed I stood there for a few moments taking in all of him. I couldn’t get over how beautiful he was his body sculpted perfectly I could see the definition in his muscles his hair was jet black and slightly curled. I couldn’t stop staring at the man in front of me. The sound of his voice broke me out of it “are you going to stand there checking me out all night” he whispered. I felt the heat in my cheeks no doubt I was redder than a tomato. He laughed as I walked over covering my face and slid in bed beside him. He gently took my hand and removed them from my face. “Please don’t cover your face it’s beautiful besides I love seeing how I make you feel”. His face inches from mine before I could say anything his lips came crashing into my face and time stood still. The taste of his mouth was even more intoxicating than his scent as I felt a fire burning within me. Our lips danced together beautifully like he was made just for me. When suddenly I felt a wetness begin to pool between my legs. Once again my fave turned bright red. He must have smelt my arousal as his eyes flickered black and his wolf came forward. “Don’t be nervous petal it’s normal your body is supposed to react this way” his voice contained nothing but lust as he gestured towards the growing bulge in his pants. “I’m sorry I didn’t mean to” I answered fully aware of what both our body’s wanted yet I knew I wasn’t ready to give myself over to Levi yet. *knock knock knock* “saved by my beta he winked at me as he opened the door. Caleb walked in putting my bag on the chair “Alpha, Luna” she smiled nodding to us. “Oh please call me Sieranna” I quickly responded. “I’m no Luna just a measly Omega” Levi’s eyes darted to mine “You are so much more than that my petal I wish you could see that and you are his Luna your my mate which makes you Luna” he smiled at me. “Nice to meet you Sieranna I’m Caleb Levi’s Beta” I gave him a small nod before he and Levi exchanged a small look. “Sorry for disturbing I’ll see you both soon”. We where once again alone Levi swept me up and carried me over to the bed before slipping in beside me. “Goodnight Petal” he said while planting a gentle kiss on my forehead. He wrapped me up in his arms his scent also wrapping around me I laid there listening to the thudding of his heart as my eyes grew heavy and I drifted into a deep sleep.
