CHAPTER FIVE
Katie climbed into the passenger seat of Rix's vehicle, wondering if Megan Morrison would be able to provide any insight or clues. She hoped so, because that quiet crime scene, incongruous by its location in such a peaceful neighborhood, was offering nothing for them to take further.
"Megan lives a couple of miles away, closer to downtown," Rix explained as he turned onto the main road. They were driving into town. Traffic was heavier, and so were the snow clouds, closing in for what promised to be a grim afternoon.
