CHAPTER SEVEN As Katie neared Vancouver, she saw that the drive north had taken them closer to three hours than the two and a half she’d expected. Already, she felt as if they were experiencing hitches and delays every way they turned in this case. The reason for the delay this time was that they’d headed into increasingly heavy weather.
