CHAPTER EIGHT Fear. That was what the music man felt. He felt a chilling, bone-deep fear that seemed to sear all the way into his soul. How was it possible that this woman had done what she did? He didn't believe in witchcraft, spirits, ghosts, demons, or the world of the unseen. But with a sick sense of acceptance, he now understood that maybe, that world believed in him. He had his axe.
