CHAPTER ELEVEN Lynne Hobbs cranked the heater up and turned the music loud. It was another half-hour’s drive to catch the ferry that would take her across to Vancouver Island. On the ferry itself, she planned to open her laptop, do some work. Get things up to date for the meeting later that morning. Not that she could get everything up to date, because she’d messed up so badly, creating a situation that had spiraled way out of control. She knew that the meeting was going to be tough. Very tough. She'd be asked questions that she couldn't answer, because there were no answers. She glanced at herself in the rear view mirror. Wide, deep blue eyes. Shiny brunette hair, cut in a long bob. Clear skin. She looked innocent. Wholesome. And she was, really. Lynne actually had no clear idea hers
