CHAPTER 7Miles started feeling sorry for himself the moment he walked out of Ken’s condo. As he started home, he couldn’t stop thinking about how Ken’s mysterious assignment had ruined their perfect vacation plans. Looking for sympathy, he called his most likely sympathizer: his best friend, Ryan.
