He Left

As she sat alone in the dark apartment, tears streamed down her face as she clutched onto the last remnants of their love. The scent of his cologne still lingered in the air, reminding her of the nights they spent wrapped in each other's arms. But now, everything had changed. He had left without a word, leaving her heart shattered into a million pieces.

They had met in college, a classic case of opposites attract. She was the shy introvert, while he was the charismatic extrovert. But they had a special connection that couldn't be denied. The way he looked at her made her heart skip a beat, and she knew she was falling in love with him.

Their relationship was like a fairy tale, filled with laughter, adventure, and pure bliss. They shared their dreams and fears with each other, and promised to always stand by each other's side. She never thought that their love would come to such a tragic end.

It was a warm summer day when he sat her down and told her the news. He had gotten a job offer in another state and had to leave in a week.
