A Psalm of trust, of a Son.
O that men would praise the Lord, ascribe praises to His name, for though the fig tree does not blossom, and the vats empty, yet my heart trusts in His word for they are faithful and never fails. Consider, Abraham in his old age kept the faith, Joseph in prison kept trusting, David on the run kept praising, and Daniel in the den of lions kept resting. Why dont you keep on hoping, o ye of little faith, for I keep on giving, so that in believing, you will keep receiving. Thus says the Father, for My Goodness, kindness, steadfast Love And Mercy endures Forever.
There shall be showers of blessings, this is the promise of God. There shall be seasons of refreshing, and like cold water to a thirsty traveller, so will the showers be. As we travel in these desert lands in which we have been blighted by the heat, and drenched by our thirst to be satisfied with living waters that revives the soul, let us recall how in days of old, our Father gave water from rocks to our fathers as they journeyed through the wilderness into the promised land. Let us unlike our fathers however be trusting in the mighty right hand of our Lord which is able to meet all our needs at the right time and bring us into our own promised land with rejoicing and thanksgiving. There shall be showers of blessings, this is the promise of God, keep the faith, climb to a higher place of praise, rest in His promises, and let the showers pour out blessings.
We should always endeavor to count our Blessings, with all the woes that the world has called on itself, regardless of the pestilence that has brought desolation, though the economy dwindles and there is no hope in sight, we mustn't lose sight of the many good things that has accompanied the bad. Take for example the free breath that still is in you, having no need for ventilators. Or is it the continuous supply of our daily bread? our tables has not run dry thus warranting us to beg. Even as sicknesses and diseases fill the air, we have remained in good health. Troubling times could cause us to lose sight of the many blessings that surrounds us and goes with us everywhere also as a shield and protection. This palm Sunday, make a list of all you have to be grateful for and raise your palms, wave them high in the sky in gratitude and praise, and watch as Christ the King triumphantly enters your life bringing solutions, turning tests to testimonies, challenges to victories, trials to triumph and nothing to something. When we are thankful for the little things, we unlock even greater things. Let your worship, praise and adoration be the a*s He rides into your life and situations. Let everything that has breath sing Hossanna, Hallelujah, for the King of glory comes in, and even if you don't, remember the stones will be your replacement. Count your blessings, name them one by one and it will surprise you the great and wondrous things He has done. Shalom, Ephatha.
