Chapter 22 Trista's POV He said he was leaving for a week; only three days had passed—why was he back already? He glanced at me as he walked in, said nothing, and went straight into the bathroom. His expression immediately told me something was wrong. He definitely came back for a reason. The sound of the water running seemed to drain the heat from the room, degree by degree.
