Cassian's face was stone. "I sent you to the Academy for combat and tactics to protect yourself and the pack. Not to start fights."
His Alpha aura tightened instinctively, a palpable weight settling over the office.
Attwater struggled, his hair bristling like a cornered pup. The boy's chaotic, adolescent pheromones flared. "Let go of me, Cassian! I want to fight you one-on-one!"
He lifted his chin, trying to push back with his underdeveloped Alpha aura, but the raw edge immediately dulled and suppressed against the wall of the adult Alpha's aura.
