FOUR SARAH’S CONFESSION The face that greeted Tom Reid as the door opened was one he knew only too well, and yet something in Sarah’s smile rang false in his mind. This was not the happy and carefree woman who’d laughed and swapped jokes and stories with him and Jennifer in the good old days when Robert had been alive. It had been over a year since he’d seen his cousin’s widow and she seemed to have aged considerably in that time.
