Chapter NineThe day went better than expected. All her fears, apprehension, and nervousness disappeared within ten minutes of walking through the door of the dog-rescue centre. It seemed like she had been there for years. As the day progressed, she became more involved in every aspect, and found herself not wanting to go home at the end of the day.
