Chapter TwentyThey took the time to stroll down the cliff path that meandered towards the sea. It was a bright and warm afternoon and, for the first time since she could remember, the sky was clear and blue. It mirrored how she was feeling, light and sunny. For too long she had been under a dark shadow. It was such a relief to be in the pure sunlight once more. “I couldn't tell you everything,” said Mills, kicking away at some loose stones. They had both come to a halt and now they gazed out across the sea. Jenny waited for Mills to continue, sure that it was best to just let him speak. “I'm sorry.” “You don't have to be.
