POV: Kade
The pack house was chaos.
Wolves running everywhere. Some trying to evacuate. Others searching for the bombs they could feel but not see.
"Clear the building!" I shouted. "Everyone out! NOW!"
Through the bond, I felt Sera reaching the cell block. Felt Ember's small presence moving toward the scattered buildings. Felt their fear matching mine.
Six minutes. We had six minutes.
First bomb is in the main hall, Ember's voice came through the bond. Clear as if she was standing beside me. Northwest corner. Behind the stone fireplace.
I ran. Burst into the main hall.
The fireplace was massive. Ancient stone that had stood for generations. I didn't have time to be careful.
I shifted mid-stride. Let my wolf's strength tear through mortar. Ripped stones away until I found it.
