POV: Sera I wake to nothing. Not darkness. Darkness implies the absence of light. This is the absence of everything. Of air. Of sound. Of hope. My side screams where the debris caught me. Blood sticky against my shirt. Each breath feels like swallowing glass. Where am I? The question echoes in my head but not out loud. There's no air here to carry sound.
