Chapter 2: Do not eat outside 1

EARLY ON MONDAY MORNING

After the alarm rang, I stood up from the bed and I checked the time it was 4:30am.I know that you will that why am I checking the time the reason is because it is my mom that Is always set the alarm and she changes it everyday.Oh my God I did not even enjoy this sleep and I need to do my chores before going to school and I don't want to get to school late.I went straight into the bathroom to brush my teeth after some minutes I started doing the house chores and I finished it around 6:00am then I went ahead to prepare for school when I was done I went to meet my mom to ask her what we are eating for breakfast she answered me by saying "I don't know what you are going to eat this morning oo all i know is that I must not see you in my kitchen trying to cook anything because if I should see you cooking anything I will deal with you" then I asked her mom what am I now going to eat because I know that for sure she is going to get something for herself.she answered me saying "take this two hundred naira to buy anything you want to eat" then I answered her asking her how the two hundred naira would sustain me till 6pm and this is just 7:30am.i asked her again "mom what will I use two hundred naira to buy" my mom answered "whatever you like you use it to buy, bye sweetie.

BY 8:00am

Oh my gosh,I got to school late,I will be punished God help me.I was being punished for getting to school late and when I was done with the punishment I was already weak because I did not eat anything that morning and I did not still bring food to school.When it was break everyone brought out their food but I went to buy two biscuit and a bottled water because that is what I can buy with the money.The whole class was watching me as i am eating my biscuit, they were wondering that how will someone's not bring food to school with that kind of time they close in the school. Sarah one of my classmates walk up to me and asked me what was the problem that why didn't I bring food to school because Sarah was one of my good friend so I explained everything to her . Sarah was very sad so she told me that we can share her food.So I agreed because I was very hungry and I have ulcer. Sarah went to bring the food so we dug in together.I started rushing the food because it was very delicious,as I was rushing the food oil from the stew of the food dropping on my shirt and I did not notice.Sarah wanted to tell me but I was not listening.

After the break we all went into our classroom for other lesson.I noticed that everyone was staring at me but I did not know why they were staring at me. In the evening my dad came to pick me in the school.I was very to see my dad.I screamed and I went to hug him and my dad pecked my cheek then I hopped into the car
