I stumble toward the backyard. People making out. A sudden slim figure grabbed my wrist, pinning me against the nearest wall. I stare at him, too drunk to fight back. He grabs my chin and pulled me into a rough kiss. His lips were chapped and unpleasant. I try to punch him off with my weak arms but he didn't budge. This lasts for three minutes before I hear panicked voices. I now put more effort into pushing this guy away. I suddenly feel the mouth release from mine and the reassuring hands of my mate stand protectively over me. I see Melissa who looks scared, clearly in some deep trouble. I stare at the back of my mates head. I hug his backside like a child. My heart was racing with fear... I knew he could feel it. He turned his head around and stared at me angrily. I stare down. He hesitates but left my grip and killed the man... I stumble over to Melissa and Alix... didn't look happy.
"She's drunk too?" He exclaimed.
"I didn't know that many shots could make her drunk." Melissa stared down at me as I hugged her close.
Alix rubbed his hands over his face.
"Get her somewhat sobered up before you come back. Just howl if you're in trouble again." He instructed. Melissa nodded and grabbed me some water. We had to sleep there... I awoke with a throbbing in my head. Melissa handed me an odd-looking drink.
"A witch gave me this, helps to get rid of the rest of alcohol in your system. I'm sorry but Alix is furious and won't be any happier that you were drunk and that we stayed the night." She stares down.
"It's fine. I'll take the blame." I say.
"What! No!" Melissa screamed. I gulp the drink down and my body felt like I was sleeping for a century.
"Yes. You've always taken the blame when we were kids. It's my turn." I explained. Melissa sighed, nodding to me taking the blame. We headed back to the building. A boy named, Luke led me to Alix's room.
"Good luck." He whispered to me. I enter to Alix pacing. He looked at me thinking it was a guard. Noticing it was me, he shot dagger eyes at me.
"Come over here." He instructed. I stood my ground for a bit, puffing out my chest. "I said... COME OVER HERE!" His furious sent my wolf whimpering. I walk over.
"I'm sorry." I say. This would be the first time he heard me talk.
"It wasn't your fault." He mumbled.
"Yes, it is! I told Melissa I wanted to leave and she tried to beg me not to go but she came to protect me. I sounded truthful, I was good at lying.
"You.. wanted to go?" he said, clearly hurt. I nod hesitantly. He pushed me to the nearest wall, pinning me against it. He punches the wall close to my head. I flinch, closing my eyes and wincing. "LOOK AT ME!" He screamed. I open my eyes. My wolf whimpered loudly, just as terrified as I was. "You're scared of me. I can see it in your eyes. I can tell your wolf is scared also. You should be. I could kill you right here that would solve all my problems." He whispered into my ear. He nibbled on my ear. He gripped my wrists. He bunched them into one hand and used the other to place a slap on my face. The pain was intense, hurting. I wanted to cup my hand around it but all I can is let the sting run through my face and let my tears fall. I looked down but he forced my chin up. He finally pushed me onto the bed. "Worthless brat." He mumbled. I curled up into a ball, my tears staining my cheeks. Alix crawled over to me and I didn't flinch when he wiped a tear off my cheek. I wasn't scared... He wrapped his muscular arms around my shaking body. He pulled us under the sheets. I could feel his warm breath against my neck. I turn around, facing him and buried my face into the crook of his neck. I felt him play with my tangled hair, allowing me to sleep. It was currently 5 am. I had slept at the party for 2 hours and I've been here for an hour. I finally found myself in a deep slumber, my body bringing its self toward Alixs warm one.
