There's an immediate uproar from Shane's statement. Reginald takes a few steps back in panic, but I can tell he is going to use Shane's outburst to his advantage.
“Did you hear that? The witch has already influenced our future Alpha. She's used her magic to win him over!" Reginald points his finger at me.
But it doesn't feel as scary anymore now that I know Shane is on my side.
“Oh, come off it, Reginald!" Shane yells. “Morgan has been nothing but helpful to the pack. She pulls her weight by helping with cooking, laundry, and, especially, making healing potions and salves for our pack. That's more than I see you doing for us. All you ever do is complain!"
