Chloe's POV
It was not the first time we would be having dinner like this, but it was the first without my stepdad and also the first time I wouldn't be returning home after it
Mom, Shawn's parent, Shawn and myself
"This is the best meal I've ever had in my entire life," mom moaned and she chewed
"It's the least we could do for you, especially with the wedding coming up and all," Shawn's mom replied and Shawn held my hand over the table
"Thank you Chloe for agreeing to move in so we can get used to this married life in advance," he kissed the back of my palm
"She's still in shock from all of it, but l'm sure you both will lead to love and trust eachother." Right, I was in shock, but the second part wasn't happening
After dinner mom went back home while I was helped upstairs to Shawn
