The Devil's Duo

Chapter 3

“Hello, I am Lukas Grey, and you?” He said extending a hand forwards

Raya looked up and He felt it. Again.

“What was that?” Raya asked herself feeling a pang of pain in her stomach which ended as soon as it started

The  flashes of a green eyes staring at him right back at it, he was breathing heavily by the time he returned to reality but this time, there was still green eyes staring at him and it belonged to none other than the girl that seemed to intrigue him,s he was staring at him first in surprise then blankly as if staring past him, she gave no reply to his previous comment but the silence was no awkward, it was just silent and soon enough

A face stares came their way

“what is he doing?”

“does he not know who she is?” they whispered among themselves and Lukas smiled at the irony of the situation

“Why are you smiling?” Raya finally said her first words to the strange blue eyed guy in front of her ,her voice this time seemed different there was a bit of coldness to it as if she would prefer to be alone despite how lonely she seemed

Lukas not expecting this was surprised but quickly recomposed himself, he wondered for a second if Raya knew who he was

“I’m Lukas Grey and I was ..”he was saying but was interrupted

“I heard you the first time and I know who you are

“she replied yet again a monotone voice

“So you do know me? An hybrid that is also a mind reader and doesn’t mind being rude to the prince of the kingdom?” Lukas asked rhetorically and the use of the word that seemed to cast a shadow over her made her lower her eyes but she was surprised when she heard him add “Impressive”

“Okay. You can go now” she stated and turned her head slightly then cringed the more she stared at him

Lukas chuckled slightly

“You are different than I imagined, Raya Corey” he said and at the emotion of her name, she seemed to react slightly but then she give herself out as she sighed and continued staring at him, acting uninterested

“You really won’t talk to me?” he asked and Raya without giving another reply, laid her head back on the ask and stared out the window ,leaving Lukas ignored, a few who witnessed this Smiled

 “Well now, she is dead without us even doing a thing “one said and the others smiled

“who would dare to insult the prince and live?” one asked rhetorically but another answered anyways

“No one” another replied

Raya sighed and thought

“It would be great if I could just die” still staring outside at mother nature, she added in her thoughts

“Easier said than done, if there was a easy way for me to die, I would be dead by now anyways”

And that was the moment she felt Lukas’s presence get weaker and weaker which could only mean he was moving away from her

“About time” she thought but she was just about tobe surprised when she heard the sound of a chair being moved next to hers

She wondered who it was then sighed when she heard the usual annoying voice which had talked to her like it was a usual thing just minutes ago

“Hello there, Seat partner” The voice said
