Marcus went told Jaden to change into his wolf form, and as Jaden morphed Marcus facial expression showed that he was unpleasantly surprised and what had surprised him was the fact that Jaden had black fur. Black fur had always been the first trait of a wolf that tells you that its an alpha or a descendant to one, and the fact that Jaden had a black fur could only mean that he is the son of an alpha.
