The Good Girl Or Is She?

Chapter 3: Family Dinner - Exciting 😮‍💨

Zyra, asks if she can please be excused. So she can set her stuff down and get her anxiety under control before it turns and into a full on attack and she ends up passing out in front of the whole family. The thought of that mortifies her to no end. She could only image what her mother's side of the family would think and say about her if that were to happen. Don't get Zyra won't she doesn't necessarily dislike any one in particular on that side of her family but they are all mostly judgemental and drama filled and like to create it whenever they can and turn every situation where it's all about them in one form or another. Most of them can be extremely petty when things don't go the way they want it to and will do whatever takes to get it their way no matter what.

Those types of people Zyra usually tries to avoid with everything in because she doesnt deal with drama well. So, most times she usually walks away or doesn't respond and move on. Mainly because if they hit the wrong buttons then she is a very blunt and straight forward person. She doesn't hold anything back when she is mad and usually whatever she says or does at those times most people get hurt weather it be emotional, mental or physical. Though she does try to keep from getting physical unless she is trading or sparing with some one. But, that doesn't mean her tongue can't be a sharp and on point as her knife throwing skills when she laying out facts against the ones that piss her off because by that point there isn't any holding back and she fights with cold, hard, in your face, proof for all to see facts. Weather those facts embarrass, humiliate, shame, or destroy you everyone will know at that point.

So, for now Zyra stands in her designated bedroom that was decorated in bright blues, greens, and purples. There is a big Queen size bed against the middle of the back wall with onyx colored night stands on each side. On the far left wall is a big double wide bay window with a window seat in the nook with some decorative ocean scened pillows on it. On the opposite side has a medium size wall in closet which would end up being half the size of her bedroom in her apartment back home with a 6 drawer standing dresser and vanity mirror inside. Once you step out of the closet about 5 get from the left of the closet door is adult sized cuddle up bean bag chair that sits right across from the 40 inch roku flat screen 4k tv mounted on the wall for her to watch her dramas and shows that she would normally binge on off times. But for now she sets her stuff down next to closet and goes over to her bed sits down and starts doing her breathing exercises and counting from 10 to at least start get her breathing under control. Once she finishes that then she does her five things for her senses and her bilateral tapping and ankle taps. By time she makes it through all of therapy taught exercises staving off her attack she is alot more calm and way more controlled and feeling like she is ready to go and join the fray known as the Johnson family. It's ironic because even though she is a Johnson because of her mom. Zyra's last name is Whitley from Mitch whose least name is Whitley. Her mom's last name now is Johnson-Wells because Lee's last name is Wells. Either way she feels she is good to go but before she leaves her room she walks to the closest and checks herself in the vanity mirror to make sure she didn't look like she just lost her mind a little before heading out of her bedroom. She just good there is food left and she can finally eat and fill her belly.

Well, the only other thing she wanted besides to eat was to have no type of drama from any one. Apparently that was a little too much to hope for because per the usual one family has to stay running her mouth about something which apparently hit a sore spot with a different family member who got upset and started fussing and yelling. Which turn in to their spouse joining in and before you know more then half of the family is arguing with each other of one silly little comment that was assumed at just one person but for some reason they all took offense. Which in turn definitely with out a doubt disturbed dinner and every one stored eating. Which is why the good got cold and made Zyra super depressed because she only had just started eating when everything started happening.

Now that people are trying to get things settled down then some one else pops up with another comment that they know it's gonna start things back up and seems to enjoy this scene. But Zyra doesnt and she is very annoyed, disappointed, and about ready to set people straight but feels she would be better off waiting until she has at least been here for longer then 24 hours before verbally hiring people in the face with how stupid and niave they are with the actions and hurting peoples feelings but I guess that's what Zyra is best known for.

But, don't think that Zyra didn't notice her cousin Katie being the one stir up trouble between everyone with her appt like looks and comments every time things start to settle down but she is niave enough to think she can run her mouth and possibly gets what she wants when that would definitely not be the case. You see the thing with Katie is she has always had a thing against me because she is almost exactly 6 months younger then me. But some where she got it stuck in her that she should have been the first born grand child and she would have been spoiled and blah blah blah..... Zyra thinks Katie might be a little delusional but decided to leave the situation alone but if she wants to push for it. Then Zyra would be more then happy to oblige and see if she can take what she wants and see who wins this battle.
