Since yesterday, Mia had been lying down in her room, refusing to eat or sleep.
The maid told me she only cried herself to stupor, and stared emptily like she doesn’t exist in this world anymore.
Though, it was against the royal rules for Mia to have maids but I had assigned one to her earlier, to serve her in secrecy.
I waved my hands to dismiss the maid, my attention fixed on the portrait in my room.
A lot of thoughts were flooding through my mind at the moment. I’m just confounded on what to do.
A light sigh escaped from my lips as I canted my head and run my fingers through my air.
I know Hagai would be scheming against me at the moment alongside his sister since I threatened the Armadillo’s family would come to their doom soon, but I wasn’t wrong either.
