“I am so sorry for putting you in this situation, my dear. You should be in England, making art.” Alpha Benjamin said, his voice filled with remorse.
As far as I was concerned, it wasn't his fault that fate with its funny twist and turn had me back to square zero.
The past that I thought I had evaded and escaped was now my current present.
“Whatever that has happened isn't your fault, Dad. You should be more focused on getting better, I'll be fine.”
I tried to dissuade Alpha Benjamin from blaming himself over an inevitability.
“Beta Frank spoke to me. Gustavo wants the help of my pack. Do you think it is a good idea for me to extend a hand of support to him?”
