The grave was indeed empty.
The rogues had somehow gained access to the Alpha's grave.
But how?
There were guards positioned to protect the royal graveyard.
“Alpha, we found something.” Gerald said, leading me to their new findings.
There was a tunnel. Deep and wide enough to fit a casket.
Going through this tunnel was a bad idea. There could be bombs waiting to explode if we threaded without caution.
“I also found this.” Gerald handed me a similar bow tie and it had the same initials.
‘AH’
My wolf growled from within me, vengeful and hungry for the blood of Adonis Hope.
“Find her. Even if it means turning this place upside down.” I ordered Gerald as I stared inside the now empty grave.
The house was empty when I arrived.
