Thea I wasn’t letting of Luke’s hand when we left Camrosa. I automatically followed him to his car and got in. He got into the drivers seat and pulled out of the driveway. Once we had put some distance between us he pulled over. Turning the car of he was silent for a moment. I just watched him carefully, unsure what to say, my heart racing. When he didn’t say anything doubts about his feeling started to creep in again. When I couldn’t take his silence anymore I reached across and took his hand. Delight at the warmth and the sparks brought a small smile to my face. As he looked up and saw me smiling I saw something like relief in his eyes. He leaned over and kissed me gently on the lips.
