Thea It was late before Luke rang me again. I should have been in bed as I was exhausted but I needed to hear his voice after my day. I hadn’t planned to tell him everything but I kind of just went all verbal diarrhoea on him. There was silence at the end of the phone and my heart sank. I fought back tears, that threatened to fall. I get like I had let him down and wasn’t managing things the way he wanted. When the silence became too uncomfortable I mumbled into the phone. “I’m sorry, I know you don’t need this right now. I’ll try and fix it tomorrow. I …” “Don’t dare apologise Thea. It’s me who should be apologising to you. I should have never left you with all this to sort. It was selfish of me. I feel awful that that wolf wasn’t more grateful. You didn’t deserve that… Hang on
