I had updated Scarlett as we left the tournament. Driving for hours in silence I could feel the tension emanating from Luke. I knew he would be planning how to attack and I knew he would already have memorised the plans of Paradise, without asking. The silence was broken by Oliver calling.
“Iris called they are fine, they were decorating the nursery.” I could hear the relief in his voice. “She knows what’s happened, I‘m not too far from Blue Moon, I’ll bring reinforcements.”
