Thea has ran from the kitchen clearly upset. I was in a state of panic that I couldn’t find her. I followed her scent into the gardens and it lead deep into the wood. She was blocking my link so I knew she needed space but I couldn’t bring myself to leave her alone.
As we ran into the woods I met Jackson.
“Have you seen Thea?” Artemis was sure she had passed this way.
Jackson just looked through me, his eyes as dead as his mate. It was as though he registered a question but couldn’t process to answer.
I couldn’t leave him in this state so I escorted him back to packhouse but after a few moments he seemed to snap out of his trance. Growling his arm out of mine he snapped.
