Thea looked like she needed to be with her Mum so I decided to visit my parents.
They had decided to stay here when I left for Eclipse, Dad was still a ranked wolf and mum and Luna Rose were firm friends so they weren’t ready to leave, they planned to enjoy their retirement here once Odin had stepped down. I wondered if that would happen now. I knew I could have asked them to come and help me but I had wanted to prove I deserved the position on my own.
With Odin not here to help Jackson with the transition I imagined my Dads retirement plans were on hold, even if Jackson didn’t ask it would just be a given.
Luna Rose waked past me in the corridor.
“Luke dear, we are expecting some guests this morning, Thea might need you close by.”
