Chapter 11 Nick tried to swallow, though his mouth and throat had gone dry. Todd leaned to the side and shifted his weight backward so he pressed against Nick’s hand on his back. It was as much a show of solidarity, love, and protection as Todd wrapping his arms around Nick and gathering his mate close. There was no logical reason for Nick to fear a recorder.
