***ALENA’S P.O.V***

I was just doing my work in my cabin when the door opened and Liam came in. He looked at me in anger and then slammed the letter on my desk.

“What is it?” I asked him even though I know what it is and I am just shocked that he is here for that stuff. I can’t believe this at all.

“Why did you tell her to leave? What is it to tell me, Alena?”

“What is it to tell Liam tell me? I didn’t get here. She was my intern and now I don’t want her here. That is clear.”

I said,. I don’t own him anything at all. If someone does that, does they have done a lot of stuff for the company? And what have I got?

“I want her here, in this office, and what made you so angry makes Alena tell me what it is to tell me.”

He asked me as he came close to me in anger, “Do you want to sleep with him just because of that you are doing this, Liam, not even for once. You thought about how I would feel, not even for once, and now here you are like this. How come you can be so shameless, Liam?”

“If I want her, then what is wrong? What is the reason? Tell me what makes you so angry?” I looked at him. In anger, he was asking me what it was and what I wanted. What is wrong with me?

“You gave her the compliment for what I have done, why she was not even here just a night made you do that.”

“Yes, I did that. What’s the big deal about that?” I just can’t believe that he is talking like that. I just don’t have any idea about that.

“If you want to f**k around, then do that but, take that out of this place, out of our office. Get that or else I will not think twice before leaving this place.”

I said in anger, I just don’t get that at all. I just don’t like that. How could he be like that if I was the one who did all this for this office. “Then they left because she was not going away. She will not leave this place.”

I was stunned when I heard that this thing was for real. He just said that I could leave this place but that women would not.

“Do you really mean that, Liam, that I should be the one leaving this place and not that girl? Tell me. Look at me and just tell me.” I asked him while still having tears in my eyes. I just can’t believe that he was saying this to me.

“Yes, I mean that she is not going anywhere and if you have any problem with her, then I would myself want to leave this place.”

He just said that and now it’s more than enough for me to listen to this company. Chris told me thousands of times that being a COO in someone’s company is a bad idea. Instead I should have my own, but I am the fool who chops him out of friendship and this is what happened to me.

I just told this to myself. I don’t want that at all, not even a bit. I just know that it is now. I am not gonna stay here, not even for a bit.

“Cool, then I will do as you are saying,” I said, making my way to my desk. I packed all my stuff. It was almost done. I took my bag and then left that office.

I got in my car and then drove back to my house. As I entered, Chris and Drew were there. They were both looking at me, as if something might have happened and it was true something had happened and that something was just that I lost it all.

All the years that I have been there, I just lost it all. “Look at me baby girl, tell me what is the matter, why are you crying?”

I wiped my tears, and then I looked at him. “I am not crying, it’s just nothing big, relax, okay.”

I said. I took a deep breath. I have to be calm and composed. I just can not be like that “I want to know that truth, Alena, what is the matter, that you are crying and this time you are not escaping it at all. What is the matter? Do tell me what the matter is. I am asking you for something to tell me.”

He said in a very angry voice," I don’t know what to say now, it’s all gone now. “Is it because of Liam?”

“What do you mean?” Chris asked Drew s**t why he has to open his mouth

“At the party he gave all the credit for what she had done to another person. I think it might be related to that.”

“Why don’t you stay out of my life? It’s not something you should be concerned about.”

I said in anger," I just don’t get it. Why does he have to be involved in it, why can he be quiet? “Tell me, Alena, and this time you are not escaping what is it that he did.”

He asked me if I looked at Drew in anger all because of him. I didn’t want that, but it was still happening. “Alena, I am asking you to tell me or else Liam will not be able to walk tomorrow.”

I looked at him, and then I looked at him. “Chris, if you really want to know, then, we need to come to my room.”

I said, then we both walked towards my room. We both entered, then I locked the door.

“What is it Alena now tells me?” he said. I looked at him and then said

“Actually, I umm, there is something about that. I left that place yesterday, as your dearest Drew told you, he gave credit to some other random employee for what I have done for that company and when, today, I tried to fire her, he just said that if I wanted to leave, then I could, but I can’t fire her.”

I said with a lot of pain in my heart, I just don’t like this at all, it just causes so much pain in my heart that I don’t have any other word for that, “he told you to leave for that words and here you were doing so much for him just could not believe this that what kind of moron he is.”

“It’s OK Chris, now I am clear that I am not going back.”

“I want you to promise me that you will not go to that place or go to that place. Anyway got that? I don’t want you to do that.”

I nodded at him and said he was right. I am not gonna do this at all. “I promise you, Chris, that I will not do that. I am not going to go back.”

I said, then he came and then sat next to me, “I will ask one thing from you, Alena. You are not just hurt because of him, but also because of this, that he chose that girl, and not you at all.”

I started to cry. I was trying to control it as much as I wanted to but was not able to at all. I was not just broken but also shattered by it. I just didn’t know what to say. “Hey girl, relax. Don’t cry. He is not a good man, trust me. He doesn’t deserve to do it at all.”

“I don’t understand Chris, what chose it is that he just chose her. Not even for once did he thought of me even. Why doesn’t he consider me as his friend?”

I told him I have never said a lot of stuff to him, but at the same time, I just don’t get it at all. “You know what, because he is not able to see who is the one and who is not, but it’s okay. It’s completely alright, okay. Just relax and just don’t worry about anything at all. Just know this, that everything is gonna sort out. I am here and with the company. I will do it. I will figure it out.”

He said. Then he looked at me. He wiped my tears. He is my big brother. I never wanted him to be worried about me a lot, but now here we are at that stage and, unfortunately, we just can’t do that at all.

“Yeah, thanks Chris, I know that you always wanted me from the beginning to say, but I didn’t, it’s just that, it’s not that I don’t want, it’s just that I can’t hurt you.” I told him that after mom and Davduts, just him that is left to me just him and no one else at all

“And that is why I am telling you that I am here and not going anywhere else. Did you get that so, for that, stay with me and hear, me what I am trying to say, okay, my dear.”

I smiled and then nodded at him. After years, I lay down on his lap and closed my eyes. He was massaging my head. I just love this a lot and am on the verge of being an adult. I was missing all this.

I didn’t even realise when I felt asleep I woke up and no one was there.

It was the best sleep that I have gotten in so long and the best one up to now.

I stretched myself and then I looked out of the balcony. Liam’s car. What is he doing here? It’s better that I will just stay here.

I get up and then wear comfy clothes. Now I go everywhere, I make my way to the kitchen. like. I was hungry

I was eating my food when I heard his voice. What is actually happening here?

I got up and then I just went there. I saw Liam and Chris arguing “What’s going on here?”

I asked Chris. I am actually curious now what things are going on between them. For sure, it’s related to me and, of course, it will after everything that has happened “Nothing. baby girl is just asking him for the money that I have given him.”

Money I don’t understand why he had given him the money. I was looking at Liam. What was going on between them?
