Camila sat on the dinning with Lily and Kaila as they ate breakfast.
She was ready for work.
"Mommy you didn't keep your promise to sleep at my room when you get back" Lily said sulkily, looking at her, making Camila cleared her throat.
"I'm sorry love, Mommy didn't want to wake you up, and I was kind of tired from last night" Camila said holding her little fingers on the table and Lily nodded with a pout.
"so, how was the dinner last night?" Kaila asked and Camila shrugged.
"It was nice" she said and suddenly thought of how Sandro had tried to be touchy towards her and breathed out.
"Lily, I'll come pick you at school, okay?" Camila said.
"OK Mommy, love you" Lily said and Camila stood and kissed her forehead.
"love you too sweetheart" Camila replied, picking her bag.
"Mom, bye" Camila said and waved before rushing to the door.
"Bye" Kaila said and Camila rushed out of the house.
She saw Jade's car parked outside with him standing beside it and she frowned, she walked towards him and he smiled.
"What are you doing here?" She asked and he shrugged.
"waiting to take my girlfriend to work" Jade replied and she sighed
"I can just get a Cab" she said but he opened the car door for her.
"Get in" he said coldly and Camila bit her lower lip as she got in.
Jade shut the door after her and went to the driver's side.
He got in and also shut the door , he stared at her and smiled.
"From today henceforth, I'll fulfill my duties as your Man" He said, making her heart skip slowly.
She didn't reply and just stared out of the window.
She was still not comfortable around men, but she didn't know how to make him understand without ruining their relationship.
Jade parked the car in front of her work place and came out of the car.
He went to her side and opened the car door for her, Camila stepped out and smiled slowly at him.
"I'll come pick you up later" He said and she nodded, he touched her hair and left her before she could react
She pressed her lips together and walked towards the company entrance not staring back at Jade.
She was almost at the door when she slowly turned, he waved at her and she looked away only to bump her head on a wall, and she gasped rubbing her head.
Hold on, It was not just any wall, it was a body, she slowly looked up and she gasped seeing Sandro staring at her with a raised brow.
"M . . Mr . . Mr Sandro!" She called seeing the scowl on his face.
"Did you have to step into me staring at your boyfriend?" Sandro asked and she bit her lower lip.
"I . . I am sorry," Camila stuttered and he sighed rolling his eyes, he started walking in and she rushed in after him.
Staff greeted and bowed to him as he moved, but he didn't acknowledge their greetings. He had purposely stayed in her way, who was the i***t who could touch her but he couldn't.
He turned to her and she stopped forcing a smile, her plumpy lips made him want to push her to the wall and kiss the hell out of her.
"Is there something on my face Mr Sandro?" She asked and he sighed and stared at the elevator.
"You are supposed to take care of the Elevator" Sandro said and she gasped and rushed to press the elevator button.
"I'm sorry about that" she muttered and they both went in.
"thanks for yesterday Mr Sandro" Camila said turning to him and he nodded.
"Sure" he muttered and she sighed out and rubbed her red ears.
They went into his office and Camila went to brew Sandro's coffee and rushed to give it to him.
Sandro took the coffee from her and took a sip from it as he focused into his system.
"Well, the foreign contractors in Portugal requests for a contract meeting by the weekend" Camila said and he nodded.
"So that means we'll be traveling to Portugal" he said and she bit her lower
"I . . . OK" she replied and he nodded.
"If you are worried about your daughter, I can hire a nanny for her"
"No, my mom will do the work" she said and He nodded.
Her phone started ringing and she looked into it, It was a number from Lily's school.
She picked it up and place the phone on her ears.
"Hello" She said and Sandro stared at her.
"What? Lily?" She questioned looking frantically around.
"I . . I'll be right there" Camila said and ended the call, she stared at Sandro immediately and bit her lip.
"what is it?" He asked in a cool voice and she swallowed.
"I think Lily caused trouble at school, I have to go now" she said and he stood taking his suit jacket.
"Pick the things we might need at JIX MOTORS, we should leave from there" he said and she nodded rushing to her table.
Sandro picked his phone and walked to the door.
Camila, after fixing some things in her bag rushed after him.
"What is the name of her school?" He questioned
"King's Elementary" She replied and he nodded.
The driver parked the car in the school parking lot and Sandro stared at Camila
"I'll wait here until you are done" he said.
"Yes" she replied and rushed away.
Sandro sighed out as he watched her and he opened the car, he was curious, curious about her life, about her daughter.
"I'll be back" he said to the driver.
"Yes sir" he replied as Sandro stepped out of the car, he looked around and buttoned his suit as he moved.
Camila rushed into the Head teacher's office and saw Lily bending her head, tears flowing steadily from her eyes, she was standing and staring down at her fingers, there was another pupil with s woman who seems to be her mother.
"Welcome Miss Brown" The Head teacher Jennie said and they all turned, her heart broke at the sight of Lily in tears.
"Mommy" Lily cried and hiccupped and Camila rushed to her and hugged her to herself rubbing her hair.
"Ooh I see, you are the mother to this troublesome and arrogant child isn't it?" The woman said and Camila stared at her.
"Do not call my child that!" Camila snapped, she scoffed and turned the other student who seem to be the same age as Lily, to her, she had a red spot on her forehead.
"Really? do you see what your worthless And fatherless daughter did to my baby!?" The woman yelled and Camila twisted her mouth angrily and shut her eyes.
"Lily, did you do it?" Camila questioned and she nodded not staring at Camila's face.
"now do you see it? What compensation are you going to pay for this !" She yelled and Camila closed her eyes.
"I'll pay for the medical bills' Camila said quietly and the woman stood
"Pay? with what money? the money you use to barely feed your unwanted daughter? Or the daughter you got through your waywardness?" She fired and Camila eyes watered as her lips shook.
"Mrs Gloria please" Jennie begged and Lily sobbed and glared at Gloria.
"Don't speak to my Mommy in that manner!, why does she have to pay for compensation? Blaire keeps calling me fatherless and calling my Mommy a prostitute!" Lily yelled in tears and Camila slowly looked up.
Blaire hid her face in Gloria's skirt,
"Shut up you little thing! my Blaire would never say such a thing!" Gloria snapped and Camila glared at her.
"she did Mommy! Believe me! Papa also heard it!" Lily snapped while Camila balled her fist angrily.
She opened her mouth to speak but the door opened and they all turned to see Sandro whose face held fury walking in.
"Mr . . Mr Sandro?" Jennie stuttered.
"does this character of yours project you as a good parent?" Sandro questioned and Gloria raised her nose at him.
Camila blinked as she held Lily who was staring at Sandro steadily.
"And who are you to have the right to butt into my business?" Gloria questioned rudely and Jennie touched her shakily.
"Don't do this Mrs Gloria" she whispered and Sandro chuckled and raised his brows.
"I guess you don't know who I am after all, having parents like you in this school sucks" Sandro said and stared at Lily who suddenly recognized him.
"Mr Grim reaper?" She asked, her little eyes bulging in her head.

hope you are enjoying the book so far. Sorry if the book seems to be slow paced. The word limit doesn't give us much to work with. Our two main characters are yet to realize that they are with the people who changed their lives drastically.
Will Sandro be able to win the heart of the lady whose life he practically ruined, or will he let his arrogance and wayward ways get in the way.
