Franca walked towards Ritego's office steadily as her heels clicked on the floor.
She saw the new directors walking her way and her steps faltered when she saw Royale, smiling and talking with them
She bent her head slowly and they bowed in greetings at her, Franca smiled at them and made to walk past them but Royale stopped her.
"Franca" he called, she stopped and slowly turned to him, the other workers left as he stood before her.
"Let's have lunch together" Royale said and she raised her head boldly.
"Well, no thanks" She said and made to leave but Royale held her hands.
"Please" he begged staring into her eyes with doe eyes and her lips trembled.
"I am having lunch with the CEO, so you should join your co workers" She said and he sighed nodding.
"fine, I want us to talk, we really need to talk about us" Royale said quietly and she sighed.
" there's nothing to talk about. "
" You know that's not true " he said, rubbing circles on the arm he was holding.
"can stop making this hard for me? Please, I am trying to move on like nothing happen between us in the past, so please, just stop" Franca begged and he used his second hand to touch her hair.
"Well am glad it is hard for you," he said smiling and she shut her eyes.
"I . . . ."
"Franca, you are 5 minutes late calling me for lunch" They heard Ritego's voice and they turned immediately.
They saw him standing few meters from them looking tall, his gaze was on Royale and Franca's hands together.
"I . . I am sorry Mr Ritego" Franca stuttered and quickly took her hands from Royale's.
She stared at Royale again before rushing towards Ritego.
Royale faked a smile and bowed at Ritego before walking away.
Ritego breathed out and fixed his hands in his pocket.
"Office romance, is that it?" he asked walking back into his office and she rushed after him.
"No Mr Ritego".
She shut the door behind her and bit her lower lips anxiously.
"Stop doing that" Ritego growled and she released her lips from her teeth immediately.
"Then what was that? You forgot your duty because of your damn boyfriend"
"we are not in a relationship, I mean he is my Ex" Franca muttered and Ritego clicked his teeth in relief.
"Great then," he said, licking his lips.
"What?" She questioned and he raised his brows.
"I don't want to start having interest in a woman who is involved with another man" Ritego said which got her startled.
"Mr Ritego . . ."
"We should go for lunch" he said walking past her to the door.
"You didn't talk about the kiss" She said quietly and he turned to her.
"It is a kiss Franca, a kiss" He said simply and she sighed furiously.
Just what type of man is he? She thought she knew him but she was wrong, just few seconds ago, he made her heart flutter by saying he is beginning to have interest in her and now he Is saying something totally absurd.
Ritego brows twitched and he sighed.
"Just get me some snacks, I lost my appetite" Ritego said and she nodded folding her lips together.
She was really crazy to think a man like him could have an interest in her, a man who kissed and fondle his best friend, a man who has many lovers, a man who f***s them and dumps them after he was satisfied.
"I'll go get you an appetizer" Franca said thickly without her usual smile and opened the door storming out but not before hitting the door hard.
Ritego was startled when she hit the door hard and he almost scoffed, is she angry at something or what?.

"Lily, we have to leave now" Camila called to Lily who was busy on her new phone.
"OK Mommy!" She yelled grabbing her ackpack.
Sandro wore his suit and picked his phones and other things before walking towards them.
Camila hadn't spoken a word to him since the noon,
"the Contract signing with CEO Jared is by 10 in the morning" Camila said coldly as they walked towards the door and Sandro grasped her hand stopping her.
"Lily, can you wait outside,?" he asked and she stared at them a while and nodded before walking out of the office.
Camila tried to take her hands away but he held on tightly.
"what are you doing?" she questioned Still trying to take her hands away.
"Why are you giving me cold shoulders?" he rasped and she rolled her eyes.
"I am your PA, There is not suppose to be any personal relationship Mr Sandro" Camila said wondering why she wasn't getting that scared again with him holding her,
"Personal relationship? Gosh, who mentioned that there was one before?"
"Then let go of me, please!" She begged slowly, the way the bastard had held her that night coming back to her, somehow, Sandro's hold felt similar.
"Camila, just what happened to you? Why can't I hold you?"
"Leave me alone!" She yelled painfully and stepped on his feet and he growled letting go of her hand and he moved backwards quickly to avoid another attack.
Camila breathed out heavily and pointed at him.
"Are you trying to take advantage of me right now?" Camila questioned her lips shaking and Sandro frowned.
"Camila . . . . "
"Don't come close, don't you dare!" She yelled and the door opened.
"Mommy? are you okay?" Lily asked rushing in and Camila swallowed hard holding her bag.
"Let's go Lily" she whispered and grabbed the little girl's hand who stared at Sandro before rushing out with her.
Sandro Shut his eyes tightly and rubbed his fore head
" what the f**k was that?" He questioned as the scene of That night 8 years ago replayed in his head.
"f**k!" He cursed and brought out his phone, he dialed Ritego's number immediately.
Ritego picked and Sandro sniffed, narrowing his eyes.
Hey" Ritego called.
"I'm leaving the office now, meet me as soon as possible" he rasped and ended the call.
He rushed out of the Office immediately and went after Camila and Lily but it seems they had gotten into the elevator.
Fuck what was he thinking? He relaxed and waited for the elevator.
Soon he was out of the Company and he saw Camila and Lily.
"Ca . . . ." He broke off when he saw Jade with them and he shut his eyes, not again.

"Uncle Jade!" Lily called as Jade came out of the car and he smiled opening his hands for her.
She rushed into it and he rubbed her back.
"Hey" Jade called as he stared at Camila who looked unsettled.
Camila who was still shaken by what happened earlier blinked and forced a smile.
"Uncle, guess what, I got a new phone" Lily said waving the phone at him happily.
"Wow really? Did Mommy get it for you?" Jade asked and Lily shook her head.
"Mr Grim reaper did," Lily said and suddenly shut her mouth.
"Mr Grim Reaper?"
"No, no.Uncle Sandro, there he is" Lily said pointing at Sandro who was standing few feet from them,
Camila and Jade turned immediately and she swallowed hard her palms sweating.
"We should leave Jade" she said grasping his arm shocking him, she has never held him before
"Camila . ."
"Please, " she begged and he nodded.
Jade glared at Sandro's direction but he has gotten into his car and his car rode off.
Lily got in the backseat and Jade and Camila went to the front seat.
They both set their seatbelts and Jade started the car.
"How could you let him get a phone for Lily?" Jade questioned lowly so Lily won't hear as soon as they were on the move and Camila turned to him.
"He gifted it to her, I didn't know about it" she replied and Jade sighed, tightening his hands on the wheel.
"Don't tell me you are getting too close with him"
"Jade please, I'm not in the mood for all this" Camila muttered not wanting to think deep.
"Sandro is not whom you think he is, he is an animal, so you should be careful, "
"Why do you hate him so much? What happened between you two?" Camila questioned and Jade licked his lower lips.
"You'll know soon, at the right time" he said and Camila breathed out.
She ran her fingers through her hair and sighed, looking out the window.
"We should go on a date this weekend, that is in three days right?" Jade asked and she nodded.
"Yea, but I can't, Sandro and I are going to Portugal for business in two days time" she said and he stared at her shocked.
"WHAT!?" He questioned harshly
"Stop being too possessive Jade, I hate it," Camila said and he breathed out heavily as his eyes reddened, Possessive? him?.
"I'm sorry" He whispered and she nodded.
She needed to end this so called Possessiveness from him, It was choking the hell out of her.
