"Ritego?" Sandro called and Ritego jerked up immediately and quickly picked the phone.
"Sandro, I need to confirm something, I'll call you tomorrow after work" Ritego said and Sandro nodded breathing out slowly.
Ritego winced slowly and rubbed his forehead, why are things suddenly falling apart? He was also in a mess because he was also part of the crime.
He stared at Sandro slowly and sighed, he needed to confirm from Franca before jumping to conclusions.
Sandro took his phone from Ritego and stared at His and Lily's picture, she is cute, he thought as he relaxed his back on the cushion.

Camila kissed Lily's forehead after covering her up, she sighed and took her hair behind her ears staring at her daughter's face, what was wrong with her?
Ever since Novella and CEO Jared talked about Lily and Sandro she kept seeing Sandro in her daughter, or could it be that Sandro was . . . .
"Gosh shut out of it Camila!' she snapped and stood.
She breathed out and sighed nodding her head, She should not think that way, Sandro can never be her the cause of nightmares.
Her phone beeped and she saw Franca's text.
"she is here" she muttered and rushed out of the inner private room to the restaurant.
"Camila" she heard Franca's voice and she turned, she saw her at the other end of the restaurant and she walked towards her, Franca was not in her usual lively mood.
Camila dragged a seat and sat opposite Franca.
"Hey, did something happen?" She asked and Franca breathed out.
"You too, you look dull" Franca muttered and Camila sighed.
"It is Jade, he keeps claiming me as his girlfriend, he even told Sandro today, gosh, I don't know what to think any longer" Camila cursed and Franca raised her brows at her.
"Didn't you like Jade?" Franca asked with a frown
"I don't have any personal feelings for Jade, he is just a good friend whom I owe a lot, now Sandro will get the wrong idea" Camila whined, the thought of how Sandro had held her fingers and asked them to be close shook her immediately.
"Sandro? Don't tell Me you like him"
"Come on, I can't, fine he is handsome, hot, rich, caring and loving but he is my boss and I don't think I am his type of woman" Camila muttered and Franca scoffed.
"Do you wish to be his woman or what?, it has not been long you knew him"
"He treats Lily like his own and only that makes me admire him the more."
"Jade also treats Lily like his own too" Franca noted.
"Fine fine whatever, end of discussion about Sandro, so what up with you?" Camila asked and Franca sighed.
"Royale appeared at the Company today" Franca muttered and Camila's eyes widened.
"What? Is it the same Royale? Or someone else?" Camila asked.
"The same Royale Neils, my first love" Franca said and Camila chuckled.
"Then why are you sad? You are supposed to be happy he is back after disappearing for 7 good years" Camila said and Franca sighed.
"I don't know, maybe its because I have a crush on Ritego," Franca said and Camila scoffed.
"Ritego? Your Boss? Are you crazy?"
"What? Why can't I like him,? after all . . ." She wiggled her brows suggestively.
"f**k you Franca" Camila said and she smiled.
" the truth is, I think I still like Royale, my heart still beats anytime he looks at me, gosh am I crazy?" Franca questioned.
"I can't actually call that like, it might have been the fantasy you were having for him when you were younger, like you said, your first love, it is hard to get over them, especially when they suddenly appear years later" Camila said and Franca scoffed.
"Look who is talking about love" Franca muttered and Camila smiled, maybe she might start having the feeling of love.
"Franca, Royale is here!" They heard Kaila's voice and they both turned, they saw Royale standing beside Kaila with a smile.
"Thanks Aunt" Royale said and walked towards Camila and Franca who was startled.
Franca's palms sweated and she looked down.
"Royale!" Camila called acting like she was surprised and she stood.
"wow Camila, I almost did not recognize you" Royale said not wanting to hug her, over what happened 8 years ago.
"Really? thanks,"
" you are welcome,"
" I'll go get you a drink, don't worry it is on me" Camila said and rushed away.
Royale sighed and stared at Franca who wouldn't look up and dropped on Camila's seat opposite her.
"Hey" Royale called and held her fingers but she took it away immediately.
"Hey" she murmured and he smiled.
Soon Camila came back with a bottle of wine and two glasses, she dropped it on the table and winked at Franca before walking away.
Royale breathed out and clicked his tongue.
"Why did you want to see me?" Franca asked
"To see how you are doing, but I'm happy to see you are doing just perfectly fine" Royale replied and she sighed.
"Royale I don't know your intentions towards me, but please, let's not see each other again, you don't even deserve to seat close to me in this way" Franca rasped
"Franny, I am sorry, sorry for leaving without letting you know," Royale said with a sad face and Franca scoffed.
"Then why are you telling me that now?"
"Because I wronged you, I left without a word"
Franca closed her eyes slowly and ruffled her hair,
"Did you know why you left and kept me hanging? That was because what you had for me was never real,"
"Franny . . . ."
"Don't call me that" she snapped and he sighed.
"Why I came was to tell you congratulations, you have gotten the Job as a Game director in Team 2, You should resume tomorrow" Franca said and stood grabbing her bag.
She made to walk past him but he stood grabbing her hand.
"What we had was real, " Royale whispered and she stiffened turning to him.
"See you tomorrow at work" He said and let go of her hand.
Franca swallowed hard and stormed towards Camila who was standing by the counter and staring at them
"I'm leaving, see you tomorrow" Franca said and Camila nodded with an assuring smiled.
Franca sighed and went out.
"What is wrong with those two?" Kaila whispered at her and she shrugged.
"Long time lovers quarrel" Camila replied and Royale walked towards them with a smiley but sad face.
"I have to leave now" Royale said calmly and Camila nodded in sympathy.
"You should take heart, it was hard for her when you left" Camila said and he chuckled and nodded.
"Where is Lily, I'm sure she must have been all grown up now" Royale said.
"Of course, " Camila said.
"OK, I'll come see her soon, Aunty, good night" He said to Kaila.
"Nightie Royale" she said and he nodded at Camila before walking out of the restaurant.
Camila sighed and went to help Kaila out.

THE NEXT MORNING
Chloe checked her self on the mirror For the last time and smiled touching her face, Ritego was going to pick her from the office so she has to look her best.
She applied her lipstick and grabbed her bag and started cat walking out of her apartment.
She went out and shut the door behind her , She turned and gasped loudly touching her chest when she saw Cassiano staring at her with dark eyes, he was also just leaving his apartment.
"I . . . good morning Professor" Cassiano said quietly and she opened her mouth, then closed it back and nodded standing straight.
She watched him sigh as he walked past her without saying anything else.
Chloe blinked immediately and almost scoffed.
"Why is he suddenly cold?" She muttered as she watched him get into the elevator, then she gasped.
"Cassiano!" She yelled running to the elevator and he looked up pressing a button and the elevator opened again.
She rushed in and her heels gave way under her legs and she yelled falling but Cassiano quickly grabbed her waist and dragged her to him as his back landed on the elevator floor.
Her face hit his hard chest and she gasped staring at his abs from his shirt and she swallowed hard.
Cassiano could feel his heart beating fast, that was when he realized something, his hands were covering her ass and her eyes widened.
Chloe couldn't believe it, she refused to move from him even when she knew where he was holding on to her body.
She slowly looked up and saw his lips part while his adam's apple bobber. She blinked, this is not right, she pushed from him immediately and stood up arranging her hair.
"Thanks" she muttered to Cassiano who had also stood up. He sighed and ignored her looking down at his feet.
Her cheeks reddened at his quiet behavior and she rubbed her neck.
The elevator suddenly dinged and Cassiano walked out first, he stared at his hands and swallowed slowly, yes, he has to forget his feelings for her, it definitely can't work and. It can never work.
Chloe walked out of the elevator sighing as she watched Cassiano leave, she suddenly touched her ass and bit her lower lips.
"Whatever".
