Chapter 8

Camila rushed down the stairs dressed in her new office wear, her hair was brushed downwards and her skirt stopped just before her thighs, she heard her highschool certificate and CV in her hands.

She met Kaila tending to Lily who was dressed in her uniform and was eating breakfast.

"Mom, please can you help me with her to School?" Camila asked going to them and Lily looked up.

"Mommy, are you ready for work?" Lily asked and Camila shook her head.

"For my interview" she said and kissed Lily's forehead.

"OK, Good luck on your interview." Kaila said and Camila nodded with a smile.

"Umm I'll pick Lily up from school so don't bother" Camila said and Kaila nodded.

"You should eat before you leave" Kaila said dishing her food and Camila shook her head once more.

"I can't, I am late, I have 30 minutes to get there" Camila said and Kaila nodded.

"Bye Baby, don't forget, do not speak to strangers okay?"

"Yes Mummy"

Camila bent again and kissed the Kid on her cheeks before rushing out of the house.

Well her nights have been terrible, the thought of two nights ago hit her and she felt dejected, she was going to call Jade after the interview and apologize to him, she had not bothered calling since that day and the guilt was not letting her sleep at night.

King and Sandro walked among the staffs as they stood in a straight line with Mike behind them and the staff clapped loudly, Sandro narrowed his eyes as he kept a straight and cold face.

They walked towards the Board room and Mike opened the door, the two men stepped in and the Board members all stood immediately.

Sandro and King walked to the head of the table. King sat and Sandro stood at his right side while Mike at the left side.

The board members all sat and their gazes rested on Sandro.

"Well as of today, I King Alejandro will be stepping down as the CEO and Chairman of all KA Companies and Enterprises, My son here, Sandro Alejandro will be taking over my place" King said with a proud look and everyone clapped and Sandro smiled and looked down.

"We have all heard of his achievements, so we are not scared of him Taking over, he is going to be a good CEO" one of the members said and the others agreed.

"Isn't he too young too take over?" One asked and they all stared at him shocked.

Sandro's jaw moved and King licked his lower lips while Mike stared at Sandro scared that he might fire the older man.

"I guess you are Director Max, Secretary Mike you were right when you said the man is really a loud mouth" Sandro started and Mike stared at him immediately.

"Sandro!" Mike whisper yelled and Director Max glared at Sandro immediately.

"How dare you!" He snapped and Sandro moved slowly glaring back at him.

"What does my age have to do with my rights? I am 32, I am totally old enough to do whatever I want, and Director Max, since you are older, Can I know what achievement you have had in Italy? Talk less of other publishing Companies all over the world?" Sandro questioned and Max ground his jaw in defeat.

King smiled slowly and tapped his forefinger on the table.

"You should show Some respect you brat!" Max said loudly and Sandro face was unmoved.

"Director Max, and everyone who intends on looking down on me, or anyone who thinks I don't have the right to be here, I am strict, and whoever thinks I am not good enough can drop his shares of the company and leave" Sandro said thickly and everyone murmured staring at each other.

Max balled his fist under the table angrily and King smirked

"Chairman King, are you going to let him take over this way?" Max questioned and everyone turned their attention to him.

King raised his brows and stared at them.

"You should do what he asks of you, he is in charge now, and I support his ideas, they will make the company better" King said and Sandro nodded shortly.

"So, who is leaving? If you think I am not good enough, you can resign, and I won't tolerate anyone trying to ruin my image or the company's image, please leave" Sandro said and they all went quiet.

King nodded and stood and everyone stood with him.

"Since it is all sorted, the meeting ends with me stepping down and my son taking over, good luck to you all and I'll advice not to get on his bad side, he is short tempered unlike me" King said, smiling as he turns to Sandro.

"I hope you do a good job" King said and he nodded.

"Thanks Mr King" Sandro said casually and King smiled and walked out.

Sandro stared at the board members and chuckled slowly before walking out with Mike.

"So you have to get a secretary, since I am retiring. I am having Mike handle one of the minor companies" King said to Sandro and he nodded

"OK Dad, I am working on that " Sandro said and King nodded.

"So Mike, show him around, I'll be at the Editing room" King said and Mike bowed.

"Yes Chairman" he replied.

"No, Ex Chairman" King said and touched Sandro's shoulder before walking away.

"You were really scary in there" Mike murmured and Sandro smirked his lips.

"Congrats to you, your are about to be a Managing Director, you deserve it" Sandro said changing the topic and Mike smiled.

"Thanks Chairman Sandro" Mike said smiling and Sandro breathed out as they went in to the large office.

"This is your Office" Mike said and Sandro stared at the glass walls, just what he loves, he walked towards the wall and he stood before It, he could see city of Madrid sprawled out beneath him and he smiled.

"Do you like it?" Mike asked and he nodded turning to him.

"Your rest room is in there, and your Personal Assistant's space is outside, you can always bring it in if you want"

"I want it inside, at that space," Sandro said pointing at the other side of the office and Mike nodded.

"So, this is your resting Cushions, and many other things, I have sent the Staff information to your system, and also the reports of last year's financial position and other relevant documents. I guess that is all" Mike said.

"OK, I am good" Sandro muttered and suddenly thought of the Interview.

"Do you need me to get you an assistant?" Mike asked and Sandro shook his head.

"I have someone in mind already" he said and Mike nodded.

"Okay, I have to go meet Mr King now, bye and good luck" he said, making Sandro scoff.

"Are you that loyal to him? Whatever, just leave" he muttered and Mike chuckled and nodded.

"Bye" he said, walking out of the office.

Sandro breathed out through his teeth and stared at his watch, the phone on the table rang and he went to it and picked it up, placing it on his ear.

"Yes, Sandro speaking, he said into the receiver" He said

Sir, Someone named Camila Brown is here, She is among your appointment list" He heard a female voice and he breathed out.

"Lead her to my office" He said and dropped the phone.

He went back to the glass and placed his fingers in his pocket staring at the city.

Just then the door opened and he heard the clicking of heels and he raised his brow and slowly turned, he took his hands from his pocket immediately he saw her and she also went startled as her hands holding her documents and bag dropped to the floor.

Sandro trailed his eyes from her head down to her legs and he tilted his head pointing at her.

"You?" he pointed and Camila opened her mouth slowly, moving it up and down like fish out of water, she was rendered speechless. So her assumption was right, that man of two days was not an ordinary person, he was a powerful man.

"Well, I can't believe we would see again this way after your outburst two days ago" Sandro said walking towards her and she moved back slowly and he stopped his height towering hers.

"What do you mean?" Camila questioned and Sandro's lips twitched.

"That it's not supposed to be my business or problem if that kid was rude and arrogant, gosh I can't believe this" Sandro rasped and Camila blinked and held her bag tightly.

"Well, I am here for Mr Sandro, Can you please take me to him?" Camila questioned changing the topic, maybe she wanted to get on his nerves and she saw the way his face twisted in a funny way

"Wh . . what? are you kidding me right now? . . ."
