CHAPTER 13
Law didn't think, he reacted. Midnight was in trouble, and Shaw was running straight into it.
Shifting immediately Law ran as fast as he could and quickly caught up to Shaw. Taking his massive form, Law cut Shaw off, effectively stopping the man in his tracks.
"What the f**k are you doing, Law? Get out of my way. I told you Midnight is──."
Before Shaw could finish his sentence, Law shifted back, snarling, "In danger, yes I know.
However, if you go racing in there without backup or a plan you could end up just as dead. Now stop freaking out and let's do this the smart way──together, like mates should."
Law took Shaw into his hands and was surprised by how much the big man was shaking.
Needing the reassurance as much as Shaw did, Law whispered, "He's going to be okay, but I
