I could not sleep a wink that entire night after the police summoned me to the hospital with news that Kelly was involved in an accident on her way back home from picking Jason up from his day care. I immediately sped to the hospital only to find my friend wrapped up in bandages and in the I.C.Us, little Jason looked like he was hardly faring any better but the doctors reassured me that his injuries were not as severe as his mother's.
Since Kelly did not have any family here and the police had been unable to reach her ex husband i had to stay back in the hospital and keep virgil over her and her son.
