I reached out a clammy hand and collected the papers and scanned through the first page before looking up in confusion at Carter who was watching me intently before he spoke gently.
"all that science jargon must be confusing you and you probably have been waiting for answers so i will just give you the short version, i believe that your husband is trying to kill you"
