It has been over a month since Ivy had her accident and i am getting absolutely nowhere in my private investigation. The detectives on the case have been of very little help to me and even dismissive of my concerns. All of these added to the fact that I have so far been unable to find one person who witnessed the incident. It feels like an impossible case.
Even with the relief I felt when it had been established that she was going to be fine and completely heal from her injuries I had not wanted to see her bruised and broken in a hospital bed. It had taken all of my nerve to go and visit her.
After driving to the hospital multiple times but remaining in the parking lot unable to summon the nerve to get out and go to her I eventually braced myself and went all the way to her room
