I got up at the c***k of dawn and hurried out of the house and into my truck and headed out the the meeting point Ivy and I had agreed on yesterday. I had already made my excuses the previous day so no one would be expecting me at work and I had told my mom that I would be going to another town to visit a friend so there would be no eyebrows raised about my absence and I could dedicate my entire day to Ivy and whatever errands she had to run.
