“Hey, back off, man.” Jackson shielded me from Christian. “She's a living, breathing person and not a piece of furniture you can lay claims to.”
Christian chuckled while tracing his thumb across his jaw. “f**k off, goldilocks.” He said. “Stay out of this, will you?”

“That's enough! The both of you.” I burst out. “Can you just let me think for a second?” I cried out.
