I was just waiting for the phone call from Sierra, so I was currently teaching Chancey some meditation techniques. She was getting more and more frustrated instead of getting more relaxed. I heard her growl out and then her stomach growled louder.
“Daddy, this is so boring!” Chancey whined at me as she yawned.
I sighed. “Okay, we can stop for the day.” I was getting tired myself, we had been walking for most of the day. We didn’t want to risk anyone seeing Aeryl, so we needed to walk from the abandoned warehouse until we came upon a main road. We hitchhiked to the nearest town. I knew that we needed to find a place to sleep for the night, so when I spotted a half-decent hotel I quickly booked a room for the night.
