Asher (Chapter 20)
Vanessa and Clark are still out shopping. I keep going over what Marty said about them having to work as a team all the time. It is normal for an Alpha and Beta to work together but not all the time. I take care of the finances, the power stuff in general. I am at my desk a lot. Blake runs around making sure the warriors are doing as needed, he also trains them. I try to help when I can, but you would not believe the amount of paperwork. I wonder if I am doing as much as I should as Alpha. I am doing what my father taught me to do but what if I am putting to much on my Beta. Surely Blake would come to me if he needed help.
I am pacing my office trying to think of exactly what I should do when I feel like a fool for not seeing it sooner. I mind
